Out and About Irvine!

I have lived and specialized in Irvine real estate since 1986. That's a long time for sure and I not only live in the center of Irvine in the Village of Woodbridge but every day and am out and about the city, shopping, attending events, meeting and greeting friends and clients, working and simply involved in this community.
  • The current population of Irvine is approximately 250,000. There is a great deal of helpful information on the Irvine Chamber of Commerce website at www.destinationirvine.com.
  • For 11 consecutive years Irvine, has earned the accolade of being The Safest City in America with a population over 100,000. This aspect cannot be over-emphasized because it's a fantastic thing to feel safe and to know that your family, friends and neighbors may also enjoy the relaxed, unthreatening atmosphere that the city offers.
  • The nationally ranked Irvine Unified School District draws families from all over California, nationally and internationally.
  • The prestigious University of California, Concordia College, nationally recognized Irvine Valley College, and 15 other colleges and technical /trade schools fuels our competitive work force and enable students to reach their educational goals. The sky's the limit.
  • Cultural opportunities are endless with The Orange County Performing Arts Center just a few miles down the 405 freeway, the Barclay Theatre at UCI and the stellar programs at our high schools and colleges.
  • Irvine offers world class shopping with centers at every major intersection it seems and regional centers at both The Irvine Spectrum and The District in nearby Tustin. Renown South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island in Newport Beach offer everything from Target to Gucci! And then there's In N Out, The Stand and California Pizza Kitchen with Starbucks or a similar coffee bar inside every center. Note elegant restaurants like Ruth Chris and North Italia are here for special times.
  • The most attentive healthcare is available at Hoag, Kaiser Permanente and Urgent Care at dozens of locations.
  • Finally, there are the lakes, trees and parks. Irvine has at least 4 lakes and hundreds of gorgeously landscaped public parks. Sometimes I want to stop the car and take a picture of a yellowing liquid amber or a budding crepe myrtle. They are so beautiful! The parks and trails are cared for by The City of Irvine and provide idyllic relaxation, picnicking and play for all ages.

There's a lot more to say about Irvine but just call me and I will be happy to give you a tour. Simply stated: Irvine is a great place to come home to!
